What initially got you interested in writing?

I have always loved telling stories so writing was a natural extension of that.

How did you decide to make the move into being a published author?

I was at a crossroads in my life and decided to give it a shot.

What do you want readers to take away from reading your works?

That it’s ok to march to the beat of your own drum.

What do you find most rewarding about writing?

The moments of true inspiration when the characters in the book surprise even me.

What do you find most challenging about writing?

Getting to know new characters, what makes them who they are and the timelines of their lives.

What advice would you give to people want to enter the field?

Diversify your educational background.  Learn about business, graphic artistry, and marketing because they are all necessary for a career as an author.
